Cat started drooling excessively. When I opened his mouth It looks like his gums are irritated around his teeth, especially on the left side of his mouth. Should I take him to the vet or get a teeth cleaning, or brush his teeth at home? Or could it be something else causing him to drool suddenly? (Additional info, he only eats dry food and is still eating now, does like to chew on plastic so I make sure there isn’t any around, and his other behaviors haven’t changed) Thank you!
