Hi, my dog is a nine year old Yorkshire Terrier, i’ve noticed before that she had patches of what looked like dirt on her belly but recently it seems it has spread. It isn’t dirt as it doesn’t come off when she’s been bathed. Most of the area of her lower belly near her genitals is covered in dark spotty patches and her skin is often flaky and seems red and irritated. She has bad skin on her back which is also flaky and seems scabby sometimes, could this be related? Any answers or advice?

• My cat has had digestive issues since I adopted her 2 months ago. They have improved dramatically over time, but she still has semi-regular gas and seems to be in mild-moderate discomfort from day-to-day. • Hi my cat was in a car accident and suffered a grade 2 tall pull injury and had his tail amputated after a couple weeks as it did not regain function. He has since had a constipation.
